The National Training Program (NTP) focuses on providing training for government employees involved in the management of Hispanic/Special Emphasis employment and outreach programs.  They will receive instructions on the education and skills necessary to reach their full leadership potential and to fully manage their employment programs.

The NTP feature a career fair open to NTP attendees, over 300 students participating in the Student Leadership Symposium and the public.  Students will attend the career fair and speak with Federal agencies recruiters, this allows agencies with exhibits booths to share information with students, Veterans and the public on Federal government employment opportunities.

Opening Plenary Sessions

Keynote speakers from throughout Federal government provide presentations on topics critical to the mission of our respective agencies and the people we serve as federal employees in support of those missions.  Keynote and guest speakers on Hispanic issues affecting Hispanics in the workplace and employment.

 

Diversity and Inclusion Plenary

 On Wednesday morning Federal agency, academia and private sector leaders share best practices on Diversity and Inclusion.

 

Seminars and Workshops

• Over 20 workshops on key issues presented by experienced and respected professionals
• Topics emphasize on professional and personal employee development that strengthen job skills for career growth
• Topics which focus on communities outreach and how to enhance recruitment and hiring efforts
• Employee benefits, including health, life and retirement

Agency Forums

Forums provide agencies an opportunity to update their personnel on agency policies, procedures and issues.

 

Career Fair

Opportunity to outreach to university, college and 300 STEM students, Veterans and the public.

Three-day event featuring federal agency exhibits. Representative will share employment opportunities with some ready to interview and hiring on the spot.

 

Veteran Track

Special employment outreach efforts for veterans, including employment searching skills, VA benefits, etc.

 

Student Leaders Symposium

Over 300 students attend yearly.   Students will have the opportunity to speak with employers who will share the occupational federal employment has to offer.
